EDUCATION SUPPORT
Aware of the importance of practical experience in a real business environment, Sunoko provides students and graduates with the opportunity to acquire modern knowledge and skills through hands-on work in our company. This initiative enables young people to familiarize themselves with the real challenges of the industry and develop competencies that will benefit them in their future careers.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT
Sunoko actively contributes to the life of the community in which it operates through numerous donations, sponsorships, and humanitarian activities. Additionally, every year, with love, we gift children in need-including socially vulnerable children and children with disabilities-by giving them New Year’s packages.
SUNOKO’S EFFORTS TO REDUCE CO2 EMISSIONS
We have begun transitioning to the use of environmentally friendlier energy sources also in our other production centers. In Pećinci, we invested 300 thousand euros in replacing burners on boilers. Switching to gas reduces CO2 emissions from one boiler by 25%. Through gradual investments to gasify the remaining parts of production, we plan to achieve a total emission reduction of 40% in Pećinci over the coming years.
The biogas plant in Vrbas is certified according to the Verra Carbon Credit (VCS) methodology, with an annual emission reduction of up to 20,356 tonnes of CO2.
The gas boiler investment worth over 3 million euros could reduce CO2 emissions by up to 35,000 tonnes annually, with expected effects starting next year.

SUSTAINABLE SUGAR PRODUCTION
Sunoko has successfully verified the sustainable development of sugar beet and sugar production, becoming the first in Serbia to receive the FSA (Farm Sustainability Assessment) certificate, together with the MK Agriculture division. This verification confirms responsible production and care for natural resources, from pre-sowing preparation to environmental protection and employee safety.
Collaboration with leading companies in the food and beverage industry, including the Swiss company Barry Callebaut, demonstrates the value of this standard. Barry Callebaut uses certified Sunoko sugar in its factory in Novi Sad, highlighting the sustainability of its products.
